Road work updates:
Construction delays along U.S. 95; closure of Grangeville Salmon Road

Expect delays from turn bay construction along U.S. 95 through Sept. 1

Motorists can expect up to 15-minute delays along U.S. Highway 95 due to road construction and paving operations that will be running into Sept. 1. The Idaho Transportation Department is constructing turn bays at three locations: Fish Hatchery Road (milepost 238.92) and State Highway 7 (milepost 241.6), both near Grangeville; and Division Street (milepost 272.82) near Craigmont.

Section of Grangeville Salmon Road closed for culvert install

A section of the Grangeville Salmon Road 221 will be closed starting Monday, June 17, to allow for installation of a new culvert at milepost 45.7 at Little Slate Creek.  The closure extends 100 yards on either side of the work area. This closure will remain in effect until the project is completed.

Contact the Salmon River Ranger District, 839-2211.
