If a man really loves a woman, then ...
Guest Opinion - Jim Holsinger, Grangeville (web extra)

If a man really loves a woman, then he will love her as he loves his right arm.
Which means, he will never say or do anything to hurt her or tear her down. But rather he will say and do everything to encourage her and comfort her at all times. He will always be considerate of her feelings.
Which means, when she wants to communicate and share with him something about herself of the deepest personal nature, he will always respond and listen, and give her his complete support and comfort.
Which means, he will remember her birthday and other special events of importance to her.
Which means, he may notice other pretty women, but all of his love and affection and devotionis reserved for that one pretty woman that he really loves.
Which means, that he will not withhold physical affection when she is in need of it, even if it is just a hug or tender kiss.
Which means, he will never criticize her in the presence of others. (And when they are alone, he will only use constructive, helpful criticism, so as not to hurt her feelings.
Which means, he will not be jealous or insecure, if she has other, casual, men friends.
Which means, when he states something to her that he later finds out to be untrue, then he will admit to her that he spoke in the wrong.
Which means, he will put her first in his life before his mother or father or any other family members who would want to come first.
Which means, he will not be a controlling, dictatorial type person, but rather he will give her freedom to manage her own life.
Which means, he will keep all promises that he makes to her which includes the promise to give up some enjoyable activity of his that has come between them.
Which means, he will compliment her about her appearance or behavior at every opportunity that praise is deserved.
Which means, that he will help her in occasional physical tasks that she is unable to do.
Which means, that he is willing to share his money or possessions with her to the extent that she would be in need of them.
Which means, in the right circumstances, he will look her in her eyes and tell her exactly how he really feels about her, in his heart. That is to say, he will say to her, "I love you." And at the appropriate time he will give her flowers and other gifts that say, "I love you and I appreciate you in my life."
