Kooskia woman dies two days following crash
By David Rauzi - editor, ICFP

OROFINO -- A Kooskia woman died two days following a vehicle accident last week near Orofino.
Barbara Miller, 43, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, according to Nez Perce County Coroner Gary Gilliam. As of press time, cause of death was still under investigation.
The incident was reported at 9:27 p.m. last Monday, Jan. 16, milepost 45, U.S. Highway 12, according to a release from the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office. A CCSO deputy came upon a crashed vehicle from which Miller was taken to Clearwater Valley Hospital (CVH) in Orofino before being transferred to Lewiston.
The driver, Monte Estes, 54, of Kamiah, was also taken to CVH for evaluation. He was cited for speed too fast for conditions.
