  • October 1, 2013 - Justin and Mandee Mignerey a boy. Justin and Mandee Mignerey of Grangeville are the parents of a son, Blaine Russell, born Oct. 1, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Cottonwood. He weighed eight pounds and 10 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches long. He joins a brother, Brody, 4. Grandparents are Frank and Teresa Mignerey of Riggins and Jerry and Sandy Johnson of Kamiah. Great-grandparents are Frank and Marlene Mignerey of Riggins, Wayne and Lorene Johnson of Kamiah and Jim and Koleen Williams of Riggins. Blaine’s middle name, Russell, is after Mandee’s grandpa who passed away five years ago.
  • October 1, 2013 - Dustin Waldrop Roxanne Steiger a girl. Dustan Waldrop and Roxanne Steiger of Kooskia are the parents of a daughter, Swayzie Mae Rose Lee, born Oct. 1, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Cottonwood. She weighed 10 pounds and was 22 inches long. Grandparents are Clinton and Thelma Guy of Kamiah, Dan Waldrop, deceased, and John and Cindy Steiger of Kamiah. Great-grandparents are Dan and Barbra Waldrop, Charles and Latisha Williams, Joe Arnold, Richard and Rose Steiger, Larry and Louise Borders and Wayne Brown. She is named after her grandparents, aunt, cousin and a family friend.
  • September 19, 2013 - Erik and Alecia Hagen a boy. Erik and Alecia Hagen of Grangeville are the parents of a son, Cohen Earl, born Sept. 19, 2013, at Syringa Hospital in Grangeville. He weighed seven pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins a sister, Capri, 3. Grandparents are Andy and Mari Schumacher of Grangeville and Tracy and Leana Hagen of Auburn, Wash. Great-grandparents are Ken and Carly Key of Grangeville, Ambrose and Margie Schumacher of Greencreek, Bonnie Hagen and the late Earl Hagen of Auburn, Wash., and Jim and Vincincina Manka of Auburn, Wash.
  • September 17, 2013 - Chris and Karel (Wassmuth) Herzog a girl. Chris and Karel (Wassmuth) Herzog of Lewiston are the parents of a daughter, McKensie Rae, born at 4:41 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. She weighed eight pounds, 10.6 ounces and was 20-3/4 inches long. McKensie joins a brother and sister, Hunter, 8, and Kaylee, 4, at home, and a sister, Cheyenne who is now one of God’s angels. McKenzie’s grandparents are Urban and Laura Wassmuth of Cottonwood, and Scott and Kim Herzog of Lewiston. Great-grandparents are Lourens and Monterey VanEngelen, and Doris Herzog all of Lewiston, Rita Wassmuth of Greencreek and Tom Fisher of Pierce.
