Hold Your Horses 4-H Club

On Dec. 9 Hold Your Horses 4-H club held its annual Christmas party at Mr. and Mrs. Brown’s house. The club created and sent 112 Christmas cards for veterans this holiday season. We had a gift exchange, and held elections for 4-H offices.

Monday, Dec. 9, opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by president Stan Modrell and the prayer by Gorge Kerley. There were 41 dinners and 35 home-delivered meals served. The free meal came to Shirley Crane.

MERIDIAN – Timothy M. Sokolowski was one of 21 to graduate from Idaho Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Patrol Basic Academy no. 177 on Dec. 13. All Idaho peace officers are required to complete a 10-week basic academy in order to be certified.
