Women’s Bible study begins Friday, Nov. 15

— As the holidays approach, we hear phrases like “Jesus is the reason for the season” and “peace on earth.” It’s true that at Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. But what is the true nature of Christ? Why did He come the way He did? In a world of violence, economic stress and suffering, where is the peace? How do Christ’s coming and the Bible apply to our lives today? Why should we care?

These questions and more will be answered beginning Friday, Nov. 15. The series is called “Seeing Christ Clearly: A Women’s Bible Study on Colossians.”

Join on Fridays from 9:30-11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 210 N. Mill Street in Grangeville.

An optional study guide book is available to accompany the series for $9; otherwise, handouts are provided. Bring a Bible if you have one (Bibles will be available to use).

Call Bible study leader Lorraine Roach at 983-9648.
