Cottonwood Senior Citizens

Dolores G. Seubert opened the Sept. 17 Dmeeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Joyce Forsmann gave the dinner prayer. There were 45 meals served with 15 takeouts. Ned Forsmann won the free dinner. There were no guests this week.

Joke tellers were Jerry Wren and Ned Forsmann. Dolores Seubert and Eleanor Hinkelman split the nickel bingo pot while Dolores VonBargen and Hilda Nuttman split the blackout pot. Door prizes were won by Sally Nuxoll, Dina Nuxoll, Pauline Frei, Dixie Sharrard, Bob Arledge and Dolores VonBargen.

Menu for Oct. 1: pizza, tossed vegetable salad, apricots.

Grangeville Senior Citizens

Monday Sept. 16 opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the prayer by Alice Rickman. There were 55 meals and 29 home-delivered meals served. The free meal came to Donna Hazelbaker. A visitor joining today was Pat Nelson, sister of Nancy Edwards.

Bingo nickel pot was won by Dolores Kindall and Noni Schenck. Blackout was won by Mel Willis.

Friday, Sept. 20, opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by president Stan Modrell and the prayer was given by Orville Biggers. There were 72 meals and 25 home-delivered meals served. The free meal came to Duane Stephens.

The bingo nickel pot was won by Alta Clark and blackout was won by Alta Clark and Ann Fronk.

The Board meeting was held Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The menu for Sept. 27: sweet and sour meatballs, rice, green peas, fruit, dessert and muffins; Sept. 30: chicken fajita, cheese, salsa, sour cream, refried beans, watermelon, banana bread.
