As Idahoans, we have an opportunity to change leadership in our state this year to have a significant and positive impact on our lives, families, and businesses. Russ Fulcher, candidate for governor, has the vision and leadership to elevate Idaho to new heights in economics, land management, education, and health care. I met Russ in the mid-90s when I was working at a non-profit lobbying organization called the Idaho Family Forum. Russ served on the board of directors. He championed causes like choice in education tax credits, pro-life legislation, the Defense of Marriage Act and home schooling freedom.
Russ is a man of integrity and character. He is a man of action. I have seen his leadership in action with much success to his credit. After having reviewed his voting record as a senator in the Idaho State Legislature for the past nine sessions, there is little for me to disagree with. He is consistent in how he has represented his district. His reasons for running for governor are a result of his experience in the Idaho Senate, seeing the need to bring about change. Russ Fulcher would not have agreed to adopting a state-run insurance exchange under President Barack Obama’s health care law.
He is proactive in his management style and considers the impact of his decisions before he acts. He is a champion for Idaho citizens and businesses. I have full confidence that as governor of Idaho, Russ Fulcher will help our state accomplish those things that will be of greatest benefit to our freedoms, rights, and way of life.
Before the primary election on Tuesday, May 20, I encourage you to go to http://russfulcher.com/positions/ and read about his positions....
