Motorcyclist injured in Easter Sunday crash

SLATE CREEK – A Lewiston motorcyclist was treated for injuries following a Sunday afternoon accident one mile north of Slate Creek.

Joshua Teng of Lewiston was taken by private vehicle to Syringa Hospital where he was treated and released.

The accident was reported at 12:58 p.m. at milepost 215 on April 20, according to an Idaho County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) report. Teng was southbound riding a 2004 Harley-Davison motorcycle when it struck a deer. The bike fell to the left side and slid approximately 100 feet before impacting the guardrail on the west side of the highway.
