Rough Riders 4-H Club

Rough Riders 4-H Club met Wednesday, April 16 at GEMS.

Those present were Rachel, Kortney, Kayla, Bella, Hailey, Emmy, Iseyda, Madison and Colby as well as leaders Debbie and Lisa and parents Lorie, Melissa and Amanda.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kortney and Iseyda led the 4-H pledge.

Ambassador Savannah Thanstrom was the special guest speaker. She talked about what a 4-H Ambassador does and what it is like to be an Ambassador.

It was announced the Mod Squad food drive is set for the spring show, June 14, and the winning club will get a pizza/swim party. Items can be brought to the fairgrounds that day.

Colby reported on the Idaho County 4-H Party April 12 in Cottonwood. Mod Squad members helped serve lunch including Bella, Micaela, Macenzie and Hailey.

We set community service for Friday, June 27, at the Camas Prairie Food Bank. Horse judging is April 26 at White Bird. The next meeting is set for May 21.

Kayla brought treats and up next is Kortney.

A mini horse bowl was held with several people winning prizes for answering the most questions.
