Night golf scheduled

GRANGEVILLE — What’s night golf? It’s golf played on the course after dark with special glo-balls and other illuminated equipment — “the second most fun thing you can do in the dark,” according to organizers Lois Geary and Lynda Williams.

On Friday night, Aug. 8, Grangeville Golf Course will be offering night golf for the golfing public and members featuring a four-person scramble format. Cost for the event will be $15 per person including equipment, tournament fees and a small winner payout.

Cart rentals are extra and arrangements can be made through the clubhouse at 983-1299.

Make up your own team or organizers can put you on a team.

Sign-ups begin at 7:30 p.m. and play will begin at dark.

Contact Lois Geary, 983-1636, or Lynda Williams, 983-2943, for details.
