Tackett’s Saw Service in Grangeville was honored for “50 years of outstanding service as a Honda Powersports dealer.” The plaque of recognition was presented Thursday, Aug. 14, by district sales manager, Jason Gamst, for the American Honda Motor Company, for Tackett’s “legacy in the community, providing tremendous service, and just being an outstanding Honda dealer.” The business was started by Jewell and Frieda Tackett in 1955 at its present East Main Street location, bringing on Honda sales in 1964.
