11 Dawgs named all-CIL

Grangeville’s Michael Wilson was recognized every which way by the Central Idaho League coaches and will count the CIL “Offensive MVP” award the highest of three honors they directed to him. He was also named a first team linebacker and a first team wide receiver.

Defensive back and wide receiver Austin Parks was named to the first team defense and second team offense.

Senior defensive lineman Eric Kaschmitter was named first team; senior lineman Eli Eackles and junior linebacker Cole Lindsley were named second team defenders.

The league’s coaches recognized three GHS offensive linemen: first team senior Cody Frei, first team junior Jakob Layman, and second team senior Garrett Kennedy.

The CIL also noted the play of first team senior running back Wyatt Dewey, second team junior quarterback Layton Harris and second team end Drew Lindsley.
