GRANGEVILLE The GHS football team will have a banquet dinner Tuesday night, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Oscars Restaurant. The restaurant will be reserved for football players and parents, grandparents, classmates, girlfriends and whoever wants to get out and honor our players and their successes.
The menu will be spaghetti, salad and garlic bread for dinner, apple crisp and ice cream for dessert, and drinks. Cost is $4.00 per person; RSVP to Ted Lindsley before Friday, Dec. 5.
“There is no boys or girls basketball that night, and no wrestling – so get out and come support our coaches and kids,” Lindsley said. “Our coaches all have other jobs and coaching our kids is their love and takes them away from their families and jobs, so coming out to show your appreciation is a noble and classy show of support. Give them a memory of a town that is behind them – and let’s keep raising some fine young men the way only small town America can do so well these days.”
Attire is no shorts, or bad looking jeans, a nice button up shirt preferred or a nice looking polo. No t-shirts.
Atmosphere: the restaurant will be decorated in blue and white accents, with trophies, awards, smiles and pride in Grangeville’s coaches and players.
