KC Knight of the Month for November is Elred Nuxoll. Elred has been the Warden for our council for at least 10 years. He faithfully and humbly attends to his duties with a smile, a joke and a twinkle in his eye. He is always ready to help and has been a faithful worker at our monthly KC breakfasts. He leads us in song and is always prepared to provide a pen to those who forget. Thank you, Elred! Isn’t he a great guy!
There will be an ornament exchange at Prairie Community Library on Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring an ornament if you wish and have a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and cookies, visit and get books to keep the kids occupied during the Christmas break. Take a look at our new office furniture which we purchased with money from the Bräts and Brew fund-raiser. The library will be closed from Dec. 21 through Jan. 5.
