GRANGEVILLE — A resignation from a Syringa Hospital trustee has left an open position on the Syringa Hospital board. Trustee Ben Paul resigned Dec. 15, effective immediately.
Paul has served on the board since 2009. He is moving to the Meridian area to be closer to his family.
The board is accepting applications for a replacement trustee and plans to make a selection before the regular board meeting Jan. 26. The replacement will serve until the next regular board election in May of 2015 when the term expires and a new trustee will be elected to fill the next term. Board members must be qualified electors of the state of Idaho and residents of the Syringa Hospital District—comprised of Idaho County except for the Cottonwood Joint School District area.
