Recycling options in Cottonwood, Grangeville, Kooskia; weekend, weekday hours set

Recycling for cardboard, plastics, tin and aluminum cans is available at Idaho County Recycling sites in Cottonwood, Grangeville and Kooskia.

The Grangeville site is open Saturdays, 9-11 a.m., on Day Road north of U.S. Highway 95.

The Cottonwood site is open Saturdays, 9-11 a.m., across from Columbia Grain.

The Kooskia site is open Thursdays, 3:30-5 p.m., and winter hours on Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon, near the old pole yard.

New tools online to enroll in health plan, apply for tax credit

To help Idahoans pick the health coverage plan that is right for them, Your Health Idaho has launched new tools to help apply for a tax credit to lower their health insurance costs and enroll in a health plan. Idahoans have until March 31, 2014, to enroll in a plan.

The new application and enrollment resources for individuals and families include the Enrollment Options Guide, Application and Enrollment Worksheet, and Application and Enrollment Tips Guide.

Donate cars, trucks to National Federation of the Blind for fund-raising

As part of its fund-raising activity, the National Federation of the Blind is accepting donations of trucks or cars.
