Idaho has independent spirits. In fact, Idaho people are so independent that more than half of the registered voters across the state are “unaffiliated” with any party. The landscape is changing in Idaho and there are those who have been paving the way for big government. Their leadership demonstrates that Idaho will be taking a back seat and with their “we can do it better than you” with a direct line to DC mentality.
This election year I’m following closely those candidates who believe Idahoans are smart enough and fully capable to run our own state. Many good candidates get overrun in the primary elections because we voters don’t get out the vote. You don’t have to agree with a political party to agree with and support a candidate on that party’s ticket. Support the candidates who will support you, Idaho.
Register to vote in the May 20 Primary before the March deadline and verify with the registrar that you are eligible to vote for the candidate of your choice This is due to state voting regulation for Idaho primary elections and party affiliations.
