UPDATE: Escaped inmates snared in Walla Walla

Two North Idaho Correctional Institution inmates who escaped from the Cottonwood-area facility Saturday morning, Jan. 18, have been caught in Walla Walla, Wash., NICI officials said Monday morning.

Escapees are as follows:

Ridge Scott Dains, 21, Boise; 5 feet 10 inches, 140 pounds, white male, hazel eyes, hair is brown and short; tatoos: Right Hand "Since 92" across knuckles, Right Forearm "Richard Dains fighting since 1941" with an eagle, Back "R.I.P. Kord"

Dains is incarcerated for burglary. Dains has a history of Battery, Theft, False Info to Officer, Resisting or Obstructing, Probation Violation, Possession of Controlled Substance and other lesser charges.

Caleb Joe Thomas, 21, Caldwell; 6 feet one inch, 186 pounds, white male, blue yes, hair is brown and short; tatoos: flowers, right hand above thumb - hearts, left thigh - "Thomas"

Thomas is incarcerated for Grand Theft, Arson and Destruction, Alteration or Concealment of Evidence. Thomas has a history of Theft, Eluding, Burglary, Possession and Delivery of Controlled substance and Probation Violations.
