POLLOCK Idaho Department of Fish and Game conservation officer Chad Wippermann is investigating the poaching of five deer in the final weeks of 2013 along Pollock Road.
“There was at least one buck, along with does and fawns,” Wipperman said. “They were in several spots along the road to the north right around the end of the year. It appears to be a drive-by.”
“Someone knows who did it,” Wipperman said. “We could use some folks to come forward.”
A reward is offered for information leading to an arrest; contact IDFG’s McCall office, 634-8137, or Citizens Against Poaching, 800-632-5999.
The process is simple and direct, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
CAP has doubled the reward for information in an investigation of elk poaching near Kamiah; in that case, two elk were wasted and another was removed.
