KCPC obtains substance abuse prevention grant

— The Idaho Office of Drug Policy has awarded Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Grants to 11 communities throughout the state. The funds are provided through a federal grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to fund community-level substance abuse prevention strategies and to improve local prevention infrastructure. Through the Strategic Prevention Framework State Grant, each community will receive up to $100,000 per year for four years beginning Aug. 1.

Recipients of these grants include Kamiah Community Partners Coalition, Kamiah.
