Kids Klub, Inc., hosted a variety of summer camps that ran from the end of school through the first week of July. Included was a class that helped paint a new mural in the GEMS gym with help of instructor, Patrick Phillips; Bike safety with Grangeville Police Officer Wes Walters; a day at the Asotin County Aquatic Center; swimming lessons at Grangeville City Pool; fishing at Wilkins Pond; Fish Creek “Explore the Outdoors,” where the Forest Service arranged to have eight smokejumpers land in the meadow. More than 100 kids participated in this year’s summer camps. Here, kids catch a frog at Wilkins Pond.
