IFG gives out local scholarships

GRANGEVILLE — Idaho Forest Group is awarding 10 college scholarships worth $500 each this year to the dependents of IFG employees.

The recipients of the scholarship are as follows:

•Tanner Schwartz is the son of Mike and Shanna Schwartz. He will attend Lewis Clark State College and seek a degree in kinesiology.

•Tyler Olsen is the son of Carl and Jenny Olsen. He is enrolled at Lewis Clark State College where he will pursue a degree in biology.

•Cera Baldwin is the daughter of Paul and Mindy Baldwin. She will be a junior at Oral Roberts University majoring in science education.

•Kendall Schumacher is the daughter of Tony and Kim Schumacher. She is transferring from North Idaho College to Lewis Clark State College where she will continue her studies towards her Secondary Education degree in math and science.

•Tyler Gilmore is the son of Tracy and Paul Gilmore. He will attend the North Idaho College seeking his degree in welding.

•Bryan Gilmore is the son of Tracy and Paul Gilmore. He is a junior at the University of Idaho majoring in mechanical engineering.

•Michelle Fowler is the daughter of Josh and Cathy Fowler. She is enrolled at Lewis Clark State College where she plans to major in nursing.

•Joseph Higgins is the son of Bill and Diana Higgins. He will attend Tufts University where he will study cognitive brain science.

•Kathryn Higgins is the daughter of Bill and Diana Higgins. She will be a junior at The College of Idaho majoring in art/design.

•Taylor Bushaw is the daughter of Francis and Jill Bushaw. She will attend North Idaho College where she will study international relations and political science.
