RIGGINS — Congratulations to John Pottenger and Ross Campbell for earning their Wastewater Collection Operator Class 1 certifications. John and Ross work for the City of Riggins and are doing a great job! Thanks, guys!
The “Public Works Corner” from the Riggins City News suggests that everyone know where their master valve is located… most common places are where the water supply enters your house, near your clothes washer hookups, or near your water heater. Find your master valve and mark it plainly so it can be easily found especially in an emergency. Also suggested was to turn off your master valve when you leave home for a period of time.
Kudos to Jordyn Pottenger, daughter of John and Tracie Pottenger, and Sierra Bovey, daughter of Bruce and Sarah Bovey, who were crowned for Honor Star. Madi Pottenger received a trophy for Honor Prim in the Assembly of God Church Girls Ministries ceremonies in Boise… with a motivation to keep working hard in Girls Ministries. The girls will be honored at the Riggins Assembly of God Church this Sunday, June 15, at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow with refreshments and fellowship. The public is invited to attend.
