Who do we trust?

Ourselves, money, our weapons? Do we feel God owes us? After all I’m a nice person. Really! I’m not. You know I really don’t know how to love or like people. I need the Lord to help me love others. When we receive His love then we are full to give it to others. He helps us to forgive, to love, to trust, to comfort. He is amazing.

We can trust Him when times are hard, when sorrow comes in like a flood. Run to Him. He will carry us. He is faithful and true. All of us fail and let people down, but not the Lord Jesus.

I remember when everything went crashing down and I didn’t want to go on. I wanted God to take my life, but I had a daughter to take care of. I was mad at God. I did not like people. They just hurt you. Pity party – yes. But, the Holy Spirit was my comfort. I felt His love. He told me to name 10 things to be thankful for. It was hard – I named fluffy clouds, birds, dogs, shelter, etc. He kept asking me to name 10 things to be thankful for. He got my focus on Him. He got me thinking of my blessings. He got me out of depression. He will not fail you. Run to Him. We can trust Jesus. He never fails, never!
