PBS to air live Idaho health insurance forum

As the March 31 deadline approaches for Idahoans to purchase insurance plans through Your Health Idaho, do you have questions or concerns about the state’s health insurance exchange?

The James A. and Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research at the University of Idaho has assembled a panel of experts to answer many of those questions during an hourlong forum scheduled for statewide broadcast by Idaho Public Television on Thursday, March 20, at 8/7 p.m. MT/PT. The panelists will include insurance agents/brokers, outreach specialists, and others working daily with Idahoans in regard to health insurance and Idaho’s health insurance exchange.

This live program from the studios of Idaho Public Television will offer Idahoans the opportunity to ask questions and get answers about the health insurance exchange and how it affects the residents of the Gem State. The call-in number is 1-844-373-7200. Panelists and others standing by on the phone will answer questions about eligibility, insurance plan options, how and where to enroll, what information needed to enroll, financial help with premiums and health care costs, where to get help if one doesn’t qualify and data security.
