KOOSKIA/KAMIAH — Kooskia Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Fish Fair on Saturday, May 31, as a fun day of fishing, games and competition. Children through skilled fishermen will find a fun way to show off their fishing talents. This is 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with tickets available for the games. There is a special pond for the small children with food available as well as space for vendors. Call Carol at 935-4683 for information, and 926-4236 for vendor space availability.

Tahoe QRU is presently seeking gently used items for its fund-raiser that will be held at the Kooskia Park during the Kooskia Picnic In The Park Community Yard Sale. The yard sale is planned for June 29. They are presently looking for people interested in acquiring a space to take part in the sale, and fun. If you have donations, or if you have leftovers after your own yard sale, call 935-7541 daytime, 926-4908 evening and we will make arrangements to get them.

On that same note, on May 31 the QRU will host a yard sale in their parking at 786 Leitch Creek Road outside of Kooskia, and are inviting you to bring down all your garage sale items, a table and join the group for the first of their monthly yard sales which will be held on the last Saturday of each month through September. If you are interested in a space call Dolores at 935-7541 daytime, and 926-4908 evenings. Last but not least, they would like to thank all who attended their open house on Sunday; good turnout, great fun!
