Avista customers on the Elk City line will be affected by a planned four-hour power outage next Wednesday, May 28, to conduct damage replacement.
Approximately 638 customers – including the Dixie, Orogrande and Newsome Creek areas — will be affected by the outage, which starts at 7:30 a.m. and goes to 11:30 a.m.
According to construction manager Jeff Scott, crews will be conducting helicopter work on the Mt. Idaho Grade to replace a structure damaged in last winter’s storms.
