Child shoebox drop items being collected; packing party Nov. 15

HARPSTER — ALACCA Bible Camp in Harpster will again be the host site for an Operation Christmas Child packing party Saturday, Nov. 15, 1 p.m. Donations for the boxes are currently being sought and may be dropped off at ALACCA or at the Grangeville business of Bob and Cristy Facey: Grangeville Auto Diesel Electric, 304 N. Hall Street.

Items to send to children across the world through this program include hair items, toothbrushes and small tube of toothpaste, hard candy, small games, flashlights with batteries, small notepads/coloring books, markers, pens and colored pencils, small stuffed animals and toy cars. Items are used for children 2 to 18 years, both boys and girls. All items must fit in a shoebox and are delivered by Samaritan’s Purse.

ALACCA is a Relay Center for boxes packed; any other individuals, organizations, clubs or churches who have boxes ready to go may drop them off at ALACCA Nov. 17-24. Call for times, 983-1188.
