Dec. 1 sign-up deadline for fire relief funds

The Idaho County Farm Service Agency has been approved for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) in Idaho County for landowners impacted by the Pittsburg and Highrange fires.

The ECP approved practice is for restoring permanent fence destroyed by these wildfires. To qualify, the applicant must be an agricultural producer whose land received such damage that it is too costly to rehabilitate without federal assistance.

Sign-up deadline is Dec. 1. For information call 983-1050, Ext. 2, or stop by Farm Service Agency, 102 South Hall, Grangeville, ID 83530.
