Harvest dinners on tap

A variety of harvest dinners are scheduled for this week. These include the following:

WHITE BIRD — Rebekahs popular Annual Turkey Feed is set for Sunday, Nov. 16. Bingo is at 11 a.m., and turkey will be served at noon. Price is the same as last year and all will be held at the IOOF Hall, downtown White Bird.

GRANGEVILLE — Turkey, trimmings, and desserts are on the menu at the annual Harvest Dinner this Saturday, Nov. 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The community is invited to attend this free dinner and enjoy food and fellowship. Dinner is served from 4-6 pm. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of food, and any extra contributions will help support the new Messiah Lutheran mission church in Moscow. STITES —The 4th annual Clearwater Valley Senior Parents Holiday Gift Fair will be held at the Country Center in Stites on Saturday, Nov. 22, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Support both the CVHS senior class of 2015 and local artists and craftsmen by doing Christmas shopping at this fair. Hot lunch, a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes will all be available.

KOOSKIA – Clearwater Valley Elementary School will host a kids’ carnival, dinner and silent auction this Friday, Nov. 14, 5-7:30 p.m., at the school.

Tickets at the door are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. A spaghetti dinner, silent auction and variety of kids’ games will be offered. Call 935-7773 for questions.

KAMIAH – Emergency Feeding Outreach will offer its free annual harvest dinner Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Community Presbyterian Church in Kamiah, 7th and Hill streets, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
