Grangeville tree lighting will be Saturday

GRANGEVILLE — Winter Magic tree lighting will again be sponsored by the Grangeville Horizons Recreation Committee. This is set for Pioneer Park Saturday, Nov. 29, 5 p.m. Music will be provided by local talent and Santa will end the evening as he appears on the GVFD fire truck.

Christmas Bazaar set

for Riggins

RIGGINS — Riggins Christmas Bazaar will open its doors Friday, Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the newly remodeled Community Center behind the Chevron Station on Main Street. Saturday will continue 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with “Photos with Santa” from 1-2 p.m. Creations from local artists and crafters will be available. Profit from booth fees will go to the Secret Santas Program. Shop local where it does the most good, and come to see your friends, both old and new. GHS FFA adopts family; donations sought

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville FFA will again “Adopt A Family” for the Christmas season. They will begin collecting items and money Dec. 1 and end Dec. 9. This will be a contest between the girls and boys. To donate call teacher Lyndsey Stephens at 983-0580 or e-mail

Valley Singers, Ringers to perform in Kamiah

KAMIAH — Valley Singers and Bell Ringers in conjunction with the Idaho County Orchestra will present performances at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kamiah Dec. 2 and 4 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. The singers are under the direction of Larry Paul and the ringers are directed by Luanne Howard.

Thanksgiving service set for The Life Center

KAMIAH — Thanksgiving is a time for getting together with family and friends. Bring family and friends to the special Thanksgiving Eve service at The Life Center, 4432 Highway 12, this Wednesday, Nov. 26, 6 p.m. This will be a one-hour service full of music and gratitude. Call 935-0362.
