Sew-Ciety Quilters held their biennial quilt show at Grangeville Elementary Middle School Sept. 27 and 28.

GRANGEVILLE — The Sew-City Biennial Quilt Show was held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 27 and 28 at Grangeville Elementary Middle School. Results from the event (all voted on by the public) are as follows:
Large quilts: 1st, Mary Flury; 2nd, Arlene Thomas; and 3rd, Mary Flury; Medium quilts: 1st and 2nd, Cathie Orr; and 3rd, Karen Wisdom; Small quilts: 1st, Joan Hall; 2nd, Jo Holloway; and 3rd, Kathy Warford; Baby quilts: 1st, Teri Helena; 2nd, Vickie Krueger; and 3rd, Clara Armstrong; Wall Hangings: 1st, Karen Wisdom; 2nd, Vida Hulet, 3rd tie, Jo Holloway and Ann White; Table runners: 1st, Jo Holloway; 2nd, Judy Jeffery; and 3rd, Vida Hulet; Miscellaneous: 1st, Gwen Smith; 2nd, Cathie Orr; and 3rd, Debi Stuivenga; Youth: 1st, Molly McGuigan; Challenge: 1st, Cathie Orr; 2nd, Judy Jeffery; 3rd, Marietta Hanson; Best of Show: Mary Flury; Honorable Mention: Arlene Thomas.
There was a total of 270 quilts at the show. Raffle quilt was won by John Sangster of Grangeville.
