Army 1st Lt. Lee Muench graduated from Explosive Ordnance Disposal School on May 23. Service members who are qualified as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians, are specially trained to deal with the construction, deployment, disarmament, and disposal of high explosive munitions and may include other types of ordnance such as nuclear, biological and chemical weapons along with Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and Improvised Nuclear Devices (IND).
He is currently serving as Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician with 789th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, Fort Benning, Ga. Muench is the son of Alan and Mary Muench of Grangeville.
