McLean is new Syringa Hospital trustee

GRANGEVILLE — A seat available on the Syringa Hospital Board of Trustees has been filled.

According to Syringa CEO Joe Cladouhos, Connie McLean of Grangeville was sworn in at the September board meeting. She replaces trustee Scott Scribner who recently resigned from his position.

“I prefer to call it a retirement rather than resigning,” chuckled Scribner. “I am definitely leaving on a high note – it’s all good.”

According to board chair David Green, the remainder of the term is four and one-half years; however, McLean will only serve until the next election which is May 2015. Then the position will be filled in the election for the rest of the term.
