Runners prepped for Potlatch

— The Grangeville cross-country team’s meet last Saturday, Oct. 18, was “a great tune-up and preparation for our district meet this Thursday at Potlatch,” coach Les Loeber said.

Kaleala Bass (first, 20:24) and Emily Kaschmitter (second, 21:35) both “continued to shine,” Loeber noted. “I am excited to see how we will preform at districts.”

On the boys side, Diego Barela (second, 16:27) set the pace for Ethan Bonn (12, 18:43), Ryan Ruklic (15, 19:21), Zach Told (16, 19:28), Ammon Dewey (21, 21:08) and Zach Stoner (26, 22:02).

Coming — The district meet will start at 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at Potlatch with the girls running first and the boys to follow.
