Ferdinand man involved in three-vehicle crash in Caldwell Oct. 21

CALDWELL – Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred Oct. 21 in Caldwell, involving a Ferdinand man.

Troy W. Walker, 44, was westbound on I-84 driving a 1997 Peterbilt semi hauling two trailers when he lost control of the vehicle. The second trailer hit the median and overturned, spilling a large amount of grain on the roadway, blocking the westbound lanes and one eastbound lane. As a result, one westbound vehicle was struck by debris from the crash, and a second lost control in the grain and struck the median barrier, during which the driver was injured. The three lanes were blocked for more than 4.5 hours.
