GRANGEVILLE — Yolanda Stout of Grangeville, who recently returned from a mission trip to Cambodia, will speak with the Encouragers Thursday, Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m., at Oscar’s Restaurant in Grangeville.
Stout worked with girls from 6 to l6 who had been sold into the sex trade in that country. She worked as a photographer documenting the girls who have been returned to their families or villages and provided with a home and equipped to make a living for themselves outside the sex trade. A Christian-based organization based in Australia worked to rescue the girls.
