3Rivers Amateur Radio Club

At the March meeting, the club decided to operate in the June ARRL Field Day from the Kamiah City Park. Bob West presented the Field Day plans at the city council meeting on March 25th. The city council voted to waive the park fees and to declare the week of June 21 - 27 as amateur radio week in Kamiah.

Bob Finch gave a presentation on his mobile radio backpack.

The Salmon Jet Boat Races will be April 17-19. Hams are needed to provide safety communication. Spots are available on shore as well as on the safety jet boats.

The April meeting will be held at Lewis and Clark Resort on U.S. Highway 12, two miles east of Kamiah at 6:30 p.m. The US Weather Service will conduct weather spotter training at 5:30 p.m. at Lewis and Clark Resort and all are invited. License examinations will also be given for those interested.
