GRANGEVILLE – Idaho County Farm Service Agency employees were recently recognized for their extra efforts in completing the new Farm Bill Programs.
Tiffany Jacobs, Julie Fowler and Erica Baldus were presented with certificates of appreciation from Mark Samson, the Idaho State Executive Director for the Farm Service Agency.
These employees were recognized for “exceptional innovation, organization and collaboration in completing the 2014-15 ARC/PLC program sign-up and enrollment.”
Idaho County enrolled 628 farms into new ARC/PLC farm programs during the past six months. Employees met personally with more than 240 individual farmers and ranchers. Compared to the previous Farm Bill – 607 farms were enrolled, so these employees exceeded the enrollment goal by 106 percent.
