In the Aug. 5 issue of the Idaho County Free Press was a front page article stating that the Manning Bridge project was going to start this fall as planned, and the old bridge would be removed immediately upon completion. It also stated that the new bridge would be built before the old one is removed.
Why does the old one have to be removed, as that is history? Apparently Mr. Greg Gifford is one of the spokesmen for this project, and I would appreciate any good reason he could give me. I will await your reply in letters to the editor, or maybe you can’t give me a logical reason.
