Music program set at Nazarene church Dec. 13

GRANGEVILLE — The Grangeville Church of the Nazarene will host its annual Christmas musical program, Sunday, Dec. 13, 6 p.m., at the church, 515 W. N. 2nd Street. All are invited to attend.

Celebration on tap for E-Free Dec. 13

GRANGEVILLE — Centennial E-Free Church, 408 N. College Street, will have its annual Christ In Christmas celebration which features the decorating of a Christmas tree with ornaments that depict the names of Christ. This is set for Sunday, Dec. 13, 5 p.m., followed by a potluck meal at about 6 p.m.

Everyone is welcome.

‘Journey to Bethlehem’ will be Dec. 12 at LDS

KAMIAH — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kamiah 1st and 2nd wards will be hosting “A Journey to Bethlehem,” Saturday, Dec. 12, 4-7 p.m., at the church on Highway 12. Guided tours are from 4-6:20 p.m. Dinner is included. The public is welcome.

Childrens play set for Riggins Dec. 13

RIGGINS — Riggins Assembly of God Children’s Christmas Musical will be performed Sunday Dec. 13, 6 p.m.

Shira to serve mission to Oklahoma City

GRANGEVILLE — Elder Kyle Shira, the son of Bill Shira, of the Grangeville Ward has been called to serve in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission. He entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, on Nov. 18, and will serve a 24-month mission.

Embrace Grace group to meet Dec. 12

Assembly church to host kids’ program

RIGGINS — Riggins Assembly of God Children’s Christmas Musical will be performed Sunday Dec. 13, 6 p.m.

Life Center to present kids’ musical

KAMIAH — Join the Christmas Crusader, Candy Cane Kid and many more at the Life Center’s Children’s Musical, as a Christmas story in Garland City is revealed like never before. In a time where comic books, super heroes and action figures are the norm, this Christmas comedy will make you laugh and warm your heart. Bam! Pow!

Two performances will be held at The Life Center: Saturday, Dec. 12, 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m.

Summit Nativity play is Dec. 18

COTTONWOOD — Summit Academy’s Nativity Play at the school gymnasium will be held Dec. 18, 7 p.m. All are welcome; the event is free of charge.

Faith Lutheran welcomes pastor, sets events

KAMIAH — Faith Lutheran Church, located at 605 Idaho Street, recently welcomed new pastor Rev. Gail.

The candlelighting of the Advent wreath will be during the Sunday worship services Dec. 6 and 13. An Advent Soup Supper is set for Thursday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m., at the church. Christmas Eve service with Holy Communion will be at 5 p.m. with treat bags for the children.

The annual fun night on New Year's Eve will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. There will be food, snacks and refreshments, also some games, singing with prayer. The church congregational meeting is set for Jan. 31 with Sunday service and a potluck meal. Questions? Call 935-5052.
