Kamiah library sets activities

— Kamiah Community Library will be visited by Mrs. Claus at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, for a Christmas story time. Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend. Wednesday morning pre-school story time is on hiatus until Jan. 6, 10:30 a.m.

Those looking for an affordable, practical and personal gift this holiday season can browse the Friends of the Library Book Sale that is ongoing at the branch. Paperbacks are $.25 each and hardbacks are $1 each. Donations of books in good condition are welcome and appreciated.

The library will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve (1-5 p.m.) and closed on Christmas, Friday, Dec. 25. Those who would like to borrow books when the library is closed, try the Overdrive app to borrow up to three ebook or audiobook titles at a time without leaving home.
