Royalty representing organizations; tryouts upcoming for 2015-16 year

Rodeos and summer community festivals are still months away, but young women are currently representing these organizations as reining royalty.

Here’s a list of your 2015 royalty for Idaho County:

Idaho County Fair

The Idaho County Fair is Aug. 19-22.

This year’s royalty are Queen Brooke Eades of Kamiah, First Princess Lauren Goldman of Grangeville, Second Princess Madison Ulmer of Kamiah.

Applications for the 2015 royalty are available in June.

Grangeville Border Days

Grangeville Border Days is July 3-5. This year’s royalty are Queen Nicole Poxleitner of Cottonwood and Princess Shandra Madden of Grangeville.

Queen tryouts will be held in late June.

Riggins Rodeo

Riggins Rodeo is May 2-3. This year’s royalty are Queen Cassie Chandler of Slate Creek and Princess Phebe Rupp of Riggins.

Queen tryouts will be held March 15.

White Bird Rodeo

White Bird Rodeo is June 19-20. Royalty is Queen Dakota Matson of Nezperce.

CVRA Rodeo

Queen is Jade Paul.

The 2015 CVRA Rodeo is June 27-28. Royalty tryouts are held during this event.

Kooskia Saddliers

Queen is Macenzie Farris. The group’s annual O-Mok-See normally follows the Kooskia Days parade.

Queen tryouts are held in September.

Triple Bar Drill Team

Royalty are Queen Micaela Farris and Princess Jillian Hausladen.

Queen tryouts will be held in conjunction with the team O-Mok-See set for July 26.

Team practice starts June 1.

Gold Trail Wranglers

Queen is Kasey Blair of Kamiah.

Royalty tryouts are April 18.

Cottonwood Riding Club

Queen is Kodie Tidwell, and princesses are Marisa Lustig and Kate Lustig.

The club starts its play days in April. Their big show is set for Sept. 13, which is when royalty tryouts are held, with the winners being announced at the Christmas party.
