GRANGEVILLE — Eighth grader Stephen Goldman was the winner in Sts. Peter and Paul School’s geography bee, also held Thursday, Jan. 15.

Goldman edged out fellow eighth grader Nathan Lothspeich in the championship round.

Goldman is the son of Jeff and Becky Goldman of Grangeville.

“Stephen will now take the test and we will wait to see if he will represent SPPS at the state bee,” said principal Teresa Groom. “We’re proud of how well all the kids did who participated.”

Those in the bee also included eighth graders Madison Adams, Adrian Ramirez and Hunter Schoo; seventh graders Alex Kaschmitter and Jesus Perez; sixth grade students Taylor Bransford and Reece Wimer; and lone fifth grader Jared Lindsley.
