Cottonwood Senior Citizens

Dolores VonBargen opened the Jan. 20 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance. Joyce Forsmann led the dinner prayer. Guests were Jim and Donna Barnett who came to eat and visit with us all. Glad to see them. There were 42 dinners served with 11 takeouts. Irene Terhaar won the free dinner.

Anna Gehring shared a joke with the group.

Katie Remacle won the nickel bingo pot while Dolores VonBargen won the blackout.

Door prize winners were Mel Willis, Dolores VonBargen, Norma Schumacher, Katie Remacle, Dick Schultz and Gail Hart.

Menu for Feb. 3: sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, mixed fruit. Meal is sponsored by St. Mary’s Hospital.
