Idaho Forest Group gives out educational scholarships

GRANGEVILLE — Idaho Forest Group in Grangeville is awarding 12 college scholarships worth $500 each this year to family members of our IFG team.

Recipients are as follows:

•Kyle Tomlinson is the son of Kevin and Debbie Tomlinson. He will enroll this fall at Lewis Clark State College and seek a degree in forestry.

•Tanner Schwartz is the son of Mike and Shanna Schwartz. He is attending Lewis Clark State College seeking a degree in exercise science.

•Tyler Olsen is the son of Carl and Jenny Olsen. He is enrolled at Lewis Clark State College where he is pursuing degrees in biology and secondary education.

•Kendall Schumacher is the daughter of Tony and Kim Schumacher. She is continuing her studies towards her degree in business management.

•Tyler Gilmore is the son of Tracy and Paul Gilmore. He will continue his education at the North Idaho College seeking his degrees in welding and machining.

•Bryan Gilmore is the son of Tracy and Paul Gilmore. Bryan is continuing his education at the University of Idaho majoring in mechanical engineering.

•Michelle Fowler is the daughter of Josh and Cathy Fowler. She is enrolled at Lewis Clark State College where she continues her studies in nursing.

•Joseph Higgins is the son of Bill and Diana Higgins. Joe is attending Tufts University where he is pursuing a degree in cognitive and brain science.

•Kathryn Higgins is the daughter of Bill and Diana Higgins. She is continuing at The College of Idaho majoring in art/design.

•Taylor Bushaw is the daughter of Francis and Jill Bushaw. She is attending North Idaho College where she is studying political science.

•Kiley Northrup is the daughter of Rick and Sheri Northrup. She is currently attending University of Idaho where she is pursuing a career in advertising.

•Jade Gutzman is the daughter of Ed and Michelle Gutzman. She is returning to Lewis Clark State College majoring in administrative assistance.
