Demolition has begun on the bleachers at the Riggins Rodeo grounds! Kudos to Idaho Forest Group for the generous donation of lumber and to Salmon River Chamber of Commerce for its generous cash donation for more lumber. These donations will cover about half of what the Rodeo Club needs. If you can donate lumber, concrete, time, let Riggins Rodeo Club know. A big thank you also goes out to all of the volunteers.

Salmon River School District will have elections for three of its five board of trustee zones, zones one, two, and three, May 19. Zone one is the zone north of town, zone two is the zone west of town and zone three is the zone in town. See the district website for a detailed map of the board of trustee zones. If you are interested or know of someone who may be interested and lives in one of these zones contact Michelle Hollon at the district office for information. Don’t wait. All paperwork needs to be completed and submitted to the clerk by March 19. Thank you for your interest and support.

To anyone interested!
