Weight room remodel fund-raiser begins

GRANGEVILLE — The GHS Booster Club is raising money to purchase equipment to update the high school weight room setup, to make it current and safe. The fund-raising project’s completion is July 1, with the Bulldog Boosters committed to matching funds, “so we have a much better chance of completing the project,” GHS head football coach Jeff Lindsley said. “This is a big deal in terms of improving all of the GHS sports programs.”

All donations are tax deductible and should be sent to the boosters and tagged “weight room remodel.”

The goal is to replace obsolete cable machines with Olympic weights and free weights that are appropriate for high school age kids. New equipment will focus on lifts to promote injury prevention and improve athleticism.

Contact Lindsley with questions at 983-1040, or send donations to: Bulldog Boosters, P.O.Box 708, Grangeville, ID 83530.
