You still have say on hospital helipad plan

I see that Syringa Hospital is going ahead in their quest for a conditional use permit for a helipad on the old Ernie’s Steakhouse property. This will not go away unless all the people who are against it, and are talking about it to each other, actually say something to someone who is part of the decision-making process.

The hospital has submitted their application, and a hearing has been set before the Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday, March 24, at 5:15 p.m., in the city council chambers. The hearing is the time to let your feelings known. If you are unable to, or are uncomfortable speaking at the hearing, you can bring or e-mail your letter to Tonya Kennedy at City Hall and she can give it to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
